Hydro from boost is port locked??

I read somewhere that the Hydro from boost is port locked and can't do anything. Can anyone confirm that?

I have an old Sprint Sero plan and I want a flash a boost mobile Hydro phone onto the Sprint Sero plan. Is this possible?

Also how reliable is this phone?

i been doing some research on this.

what makes it port locked is the Diagnostic Mode is Locked (USB Modem) so we cant get in with tools like:
qpst
qxdm
dfs
cdmaws

this is to my understanding.

i have found info on a process to get it unblocked here
