Help I am having a problem. My LG G2 VS98027a keeps on restarting randomly. How do I fix this?

I have a rooted LG G2 with TWRP on it and the new 27a update. It is still 4.4.2 KK. My phone keeps on randomly restarting when I just press the power button to turn the display off or when the screen would time out. It doesn't go back to LG logo, it just goes to my boot animation. On Saturday, I did have to recover it after trying to flash CM. It works perfectly except for that one problem. I am writing this post from it! I am just wondering if this is a small bug that can be fixed. No rush! Also, is there a way to go back to stock LG 4.1.2? I am wanting to go back and root it so I can flash CM11 on it. Thank you in advance!

If you genuinely want to go back to JB, download the 11a tot (2nd file from bottom of list) and lg flash dll (4th file from bottom of list) from here:

http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/VS980/Stock_Firmware

Then follow the steps to return to stock using the tot method here:

Ignore the first half of the OP as it deals with flashing a kdz and the associated tools to do so. The 2nd half of the OP relating to using LG Flash tools and a tot file is what you want.

So I just download the zip and flash it, or is there another step? I don't want to mess up and brick...

You unzip it to reveal the tot inside. Then flash it with the LG Flash Tools software. There are a few other steps in order to successfully use the flash tools software that are outlined in the xda link in my previous post.

Oh so you can't flash it with TWRP. Or can you? I will probably just stick with the flash tool!

Try a different custom rom...which can be flashed in recovery. The problem is making sure you have the correct baseband for the rom you choose. Most of the aosp type roms are still made from JB base. And with Loki and Bump both being a possibility depending on rom selection, this phone has become somewhat messy as it pertains to flashing custom material. So by all means, read the prerequisites for each rom carefully.

I flashed my update earlier. I put my root back and my TWRP. I found the problem... How do I get rid of teamwin? It is causing the restart problem
