Root I am rooted! Now what?.....I need so guidence.

Yeah! I finally rooted 2.2 Mesmorize! I now have an app called super user.

Not sure what to do now. Is there a "Rooted for Dummies" guide out there?

What are the mandatory apps I need?

Any help would be great!

SetCPU - overclock / underlock, costs a few dollars but this really is a must have

Cache Cleaner NG - clear cache every x amount of days
Root Explorer - very good file manager if you are willing to drop a few bucks on it

What does this do?

Overclocking your phone pushes the processor to make your phone run faster.
Underclocking it makes the phone run slower. I usually underclock my phone while the screen is off to save battery.

Titanium Backup, Clockwork Recovery, Dropbox.

Titanium Backup will let you "freeze" bloatware apps. (sometimes its better to freeze an unwanted stock app than it is to delete it.) It will also do scheduled backups of your phone. If you locate the backup files in your dropbox folder, you get automatic sync backups to the cloud. If you ever lose/damage your phone, you can download the backups to your new phone from dropbox and it'll be like it never happened.

Astro file manager is good for moving, copying files to your SD card.

Quick boot is a good app for rebooting your phone. ZDBox is a good app for collecting info about your phone's system usage.

How does this differ from just cycling the power?

OK, I downloaded drop box. How do I make titanium back uo to that foler?

Open Titanium backup-->Preferences-->Enable Dropbox

Once everything is done, go back to main TiB screen and click on "Sync to dropbox now"

You need to have Dropbox installed and have an account set up with Dropbox in order for this to work.
