Well Spirit owners, before I even bought the phone, I will say goodbye. I went to get it today, and my store didn't have any. I was bummed to say the least, but I consoled myself with a brand new Motion. :D I will probably be keeping tabs over here every now and then, seeing how the developing is going along. I will be hanging out in the Motion forums now. It's been great watching the development of getting root on the Spirit.

I know whatcha mean. I was looking forward to getting the phone. However, I wanted a phone today, so I went with the Motion since that's what the store had.
 
Just as I said before, the Spirit is selling out in many Metro stores.
The week it came out when I tried to get it I had a hard time because they were sold out. I had to go to a couple of stores before I found it.

I think the best bet now for new buyers is to order from metro site. They offer free 2 day shipping.

Anyway... Enjoy your new Motion, I'm sure you'll love it. ;):):thumbup:

I went the first day they came out, when I seen it pop up on the metro site I ran right out. The guy at the store said I was the first one to guy, of course they had just came in 15 mins earlier lol he didn't even have time to put the display model out, I was waiting at the door for them to open. I walked in and I looked around and asked you guys don't have the spirit yet? He started laughing and said that's what is in this big box I'm holding. I didn't even get a chance to open it yet. You'll be trying it before me..He cracked that box open pulled done out handed it to me I opened it and took the phone out and we both were like OOOO perdy, it's so thin *drool*so I was the first to get one from him and then he took out one to buy him self haha.

It took a lot of will power for me not to get it the first day, but I decided to wait a few days so could see some reviews for it. I needed a second phone to tinker with so that I wouldn't tinker with my S3. Needless to say after some reviews & youtube videos it was a no brainer to get this phone... No regrets.
 
well I wouldn't buy anything that didn't have a screen as large or larger than the Esteem. There was no way i was paying 500 bucks for a plastic phone. I didn't even pay that much for my Asus transformer. Seen the spirit had a good size screen, dual processor and ics. it was a no brainer.

And to think some people paid $600 for the RAZR Flip phone 10 years ago lol
 
I have the Motion as my current phone and recently ordered the Spirit. I'll be glad to have a larger screen but it made me a little sad that I won't have the Motion around much longer. That phone is like the Little Engine That Could. It's not flashy and is a little undersized, but it's powerful, performs extremely well, and could take pretty much anything you put on it.

Yeah, I was wanting the Spirit, but along time ago when the Motion was first released I wanted it too. I will enjoy this little phone.
