I bought the extended battery

I got tired of my phone running dead at about 5:00 every afternoon. The Verizon store had the extended battery on for 1/2 price ($25) so I bought it. It is HUGE! You would not think that the small difference in weight would be noticeable, but it is.

But it works...

I am going to bed at night with 40-60% charge and I am no longer afraid to actually use my phone during the day. I may not like the weight and the fact that my phone has a tumour on the back of it but I would make the purchase again in a heartbeat. I was also pleased that having the bulge on the back did not interfere with the phone fitting into the dock.

While I would have rather had the original battery have the muscle to make it through the day, this was not as terrible as I had expected.

I also have the extended battery with door and love it, oh and the universal smartphone leather holster with belt clip they sell at the Verizon store has elastic side bands and stretches to accomodate the extra bulk.

Elastic side bands? So you're saying the extended battery is like having a loaf of bread in the oven. Prego your eggo. Mini-pooper on the way....

My extended battery is a life saver. I usually keep it all charged up in my purse so when my extended battery starts dying I just pop that baby in. My only complaint is Where are all the fitted cases for the revo w the extended battery? I dont want a pouch..I want something that will protect my phone at all times, especially while I am using it.

Has anyone else noticed that there arent nearly as many accessories for the revo as the other 4G phones? Heck, I just looked earlier today and there isnt one single revo listed on eBay for sale. Crazy.

Doubt that you'll ever find much in the way of fitted cases for the Revo w/extended battery, or much in the way of accessories. Though I like mine and it's as capable a phone as most, the "Bing" decision pretty much doomed it to little significant market penetration and it's had to fight with a half-dozen similar devices that appeared near the same time or since.
