Help "I can barely hear you"

I have had a problem with people hearing me on the Eris. I will be talking normally and ive made not I am not covering the mic but I have had a few people say they can barely hear me when normally, I sound fine to them. They sound loud and clear on my end...but I have gone through 2 Eris phones with this same problem. Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?

hmm, Would it have anything to with signal or voice settings? Only a few people have told me that they cant hear me...does not seem like a common problem, but ive had it on both Eris' ive had.
