what phone do you have? maybe try rebooting the phone and see if that helps. what app do you have? are you using a keyboard app or stock?
The LG Motion 4G is a great device. Have you tried going to your homepage, tapping on Settings, then Language and input, then checking to be sure one of the keyboard options has been checked?
