Help I cant create a new photo album

Hi there,

In my photo galley on my Samsung Note 4 I create photo albums to break up my photos.
I have recently updated my software and since I have done that everytime I go to create a new album it comes up saying file already exists in that name even though there is no album actually created with that name.
can you please help

Hi kelas77, welcome to Android Forums.

I don't know whether this will help, but a similar situation arises on my HTC M9 (and M7), an album won't show if there is no image file in it. I have an album named 'Walks' with no image files in it so it doesn't show and if I attempt to create it I get the response 'Album already exists' but if I copy/move an image to 'Walks' it accepts it and the album then appears in my list with the image file/s in it.

If at some point later I remove the image file/s from 'Walks' it no longer shows but it still exists as an album name.
