I caved in....

I swore to myself that I would keep my Incredible, pass on the TB and give a strong look at the Bionic. Well....so much for that plan!

Coming from an Incredible and hearing all of the initial reports, I knew going in that the TB battery would be terrible. But I caved in and bought it anyway.

I just couldn't resist possibly getting locked into a $30 unlimited 4g plan, among other things.

And regarding battery life, I have an office job that mostly allows me to charge my phone when needed. And I was relieved when I heard a charging dock is coming out for it. Anyone know when that dock is coming out by the way?

Anyhow, I think the phone itself is awesome. And being in a big 4g zone, the speeds are amazing. The battery life however leaves a ton to be desired, which is what I figured.

Anyways, I know....cool story bro?
 
Battery life gets better after a few days. At least for me it did. I get through the day no problem! And yes, the phone is AWESOME!
 
I hope the battery life does get better, because I am on day 2 and I did a bump charge this morning. I took it off the charger at around 9:00am and I am already down to 39% battery after only 4 1/2 hours.

I only did some texting today too. No calls, streaming, gaming or internet browsing. I think I may have updated an app or two as well, but that's it.

My battery stats are showing that display is taking 71% of the battery, but my brightness is at around 30%. What gives?
 
Try disabling the auto sync on your news and stocks under the settings > accounts & sync. That did wonders for my battery.
 
I disabled auto sync on almost everything (news & stocks included) except for weather every 3 hours and my hotmail email. I also stopped the auto updating in the Blockbuster app. And my screen brightness is at about 30%.

Backup Assistant is the only one where I can't seem to stop the sync that it does every night during the middle of the night. Any idea how to get rid of that?
