There was a Japanese movie with that same theme several years ago. I didn't find it scary (this comic either), just couldn't get into it.. seemed predictable...

I found this real life pic scary every time I saw it though (no joke)..

I heard when Doom3 came out for the pc. Many people was scared by the game playing it. I remember one of my friends was playing and had the lights off and surround sound going and his daughter touched him on his shoulder to ask him a question. He said he jumped right out the chair thinking one of them hell spawns had gotten him lol.

I certainly wasn't expecting animations to start when I scrolled the page. I wonder how they did that, it's pretty awesome.

The animation "technically" is quite easy in concept, but takes quite a bit of fine tuning. Fine piece of work IMO.

Yup, I'm one of 'em. I purposely turned out the lights, turned up the music, and played the game. That's the way it was meant to be played. Scared myself so bad one night that my wife came home to find every light lit in the house and all the shades drawn. "Playing DOOM3 again, honey?" "Yup, and never again when I'm home alone."
