I deleted the facebook app

My son had me install a Rooter something - don't know what - but any way deleted facebook and friend stream or something like that. Was doing just fine - shouldn't have let him tell me what to do - just learning the phone and now - ALL MY PICS FOR MY FRIENDS ARE GONE - NO BIRTHDAYS ON MY CALENDAR EITHER. ANY SUGGESTIONS. I've installed the adroid app for fb on the market. No luck. WEt back to settings and although FB is there I can't sync it back up.
