I found a better way to text!!!

Newbie
OK, so I had been using Handcent, chomp, blah blah blah, and never really happy with texting, and don't even get me started on the stock text. I went from the droid, to dx, to thunderbolt, to charge, and no luck. I got what seems to be a new app called say what?! I use the widget all the time and I actually look forward to texting a billion times a day. Has anyone else used this or did I find a hidden gem?​
 
So you think an app that makes your texts look like that of an incompetent teenage girl is useful/fun?

That's great that you found an app that's to your taste. I use "Handcent" and pretty happy with it. Great thing about Android OS is the ability to really personlize your phone. Thanks for the info. I'm sure others will find it useful.

This gave me a migraine. I swear if someone sends me a text like this I will blacklist their number. Even if it's my husband.

Wow, I can feel the hostility in the air. I am pretty sure that teenage girls don't speak pirate or pig latin...maybe the redneck depending on where YOU live.

5 hours is not any amount of time for any forum site. Give people a few days to reply.

Personally, it's not relevant as I use GV.

Really? You can speak for all teenage girls in the world? :rolleyes:

There are definitely those that do. Whether you know any or not is an entirely separate matter.

Ok, so I get that you and Doom are buddies, but are you really going to say that the majority of teenage girls (not just the 3 that you know, that apparently walk around speaking pirate and pig latin to eachother) really speak like that? Granted, I give you the lol speak, but you can't possibly be serious.

I haven't even see him post before, but when someone who literally joined 5 minutes before making a post promoting an unheard of app, it makes me (and others) a little suspicious of their motives. I'm sure you can see this next part coming if you get what I'm saying; I have little doubt that you are somehow affiliated with this application since every post you have made has a reference to it.

If you roll on over to droidforums.net you will see that I have been a member there for 2 years and happily so. I came over to android forums because I was looking for info on the Bionic, and after reading for a while decided to share an app that I use but did not make (thank you very much) because the forum was talking about Applications. But since posting one single post on this site, sharing my viewpoint, I have received nothing but rudeness from the both of you. Way to promote!

My apologies. There have been more than enough one post wonders that come on here to promote their own apps.
 
I can understand it and would be frustrated as well, but there are better ways to smoke people out, like ask them.
 
The only people who could possibly want to use this over a much more functional and versatile messaging app, such as handcent, are children and those with like minds. This brings absolutely nothing to the table, besides the fact that it changes your text messages into a very very annoying gibberish.
