I get a red triangle

Hey guys sorry if im posting this in the wrong section. I tried to do the unrevoked and root my phone but it was a disaster due to my part. The phone kept rebooting and when i did the hold the volume down and power then selected recovery it went to a black screen with a red triangle. Is there anything i can do to reset this phone back, forget me rooting it but to go back to the way it was before.

You bricked it D: is suggest a nice hill or a desk drawer as its proper burial... It's why I won't root mine.. don't feel like risking my phone...

great so i had the phone for 2 hours and bricked it, that has got to be a record lol. Ive heard there is something you can do to unbrick it but i have no idea how to do it and how to even start.

Welcome karpetcm!
Sorry about your phone but as M0NSTER asked, which device is it?
We can try an ruu of some sort to hopefully get it back. :)

I'm guessing an Evo of some kind?

Well its not entirely useless as you said you can unbrick it.. I have no idea.. might want to listen to the other guys here they may have better ideas than I do ;)

sorry guys its a evo4g. I was able to luckily fix it with not having a clue what i did. I did fastboot instead not recovery and then when you go into fastboot it gives you a couple of recovery options i selected one of them and by a miracle the phone rebooted and works just fine. I have no idea why it worked and how but man what a relief

Remember to always take precautionary steps so you don't brick your phone. Like checking the md5. The forums are a great place to learn.
