Help I get Verizon text message every time I get a voicemail

This started middle of last month, when I get a voicemail, I get a "free" text message from Verizon Wireless telling me I have a voicemail. Every time. I get a lot of messages, it is uber annoying at this point.

I've been to level two tech support and nobody, I mean nobody knows what this is, where it came from, and how to address it (I don't want to receive these). Anybody else get this, or have any ideas to turn them off?

I've looked in every menu in settings, the voicemail app, accounts, etc. I'm stumped. Thanks.

Do you have Premiere or Visual Voicemail with Verizon? I know both of these have a Pager Notification feature. Never used either of these so I don't know how to edit the feature.

There is also a Notification option in the basic Personal Options list (prompt 4 then 1). I've turned it on and off and see no difference or get a text message from Verizon.

One other option:
The Voicemail app holds data (I had 8k in mine). I'm not sure what this data is but clearing it may correct the issue (long shot). I cleared mine and voice mail was fine. Also, the 8k of data was replaced after using the voicemail once.

If you want to clear the data:
Settings / Applications / Manage applications / All (tab) / Voicemail / Clear data
