I got burned bad by carphone warehouse

Bought sim free desire hd from carphone warehouse, they said it was sealed... i saw it had been ripped along seal perforation when i got home and phone had scratch on. Waited 3 days for manager to be in store and when i finally caught him. He said the box was sealed and that i must have done the scratch myself !!!! DO NOT EVER BUY FROM CARPHONE WAREHOUSE.

You should return it and call you credit card company and let them the package was damaged and they will refund your money.

Ok, I solemnly swear never to buy from car phone warehouse (living in Canada can only help strengthen my resolve).

I hear that place has gone WAY downhill ever since they lost Paul Potts!

I dont know if you have this option outside the U.S.A but if you paid using a debit/credit card you can call your financial institution and have them do a charge back due to the vendor selling you an item that wasnt in the condition they advertised... The bank will issue you a refund then take thier money from the vendor... Once they do this you need to return the phone though so you arent in possession of your money and the property.

This can be done by phone in less than 30 minutes time spent on hold and talking to the rep, etc. They paid me interest on the money I requested a chargeback for too!

Once thats done you can take your money and buy elsewhere.
