I got the latest Samsung watch to use with my Samsung phone.

Cool. One day I'll have to try them out
you have to....they come in so handy. i can do everything without taking the phone out of my pocket. comes in handy when i'm doing something and its a pain to get the phone out of the pocket when i can easily just look at my watch to see who is calling or texting me.

The watch saves me a lot of frustration. At a glance I can see if I need to answer my phone from from my watch or simply hang up on the BS call. Keep in mind that my phone in my pocket is most often covered by a nail apron. It works the same for a text or email... do I need to address this now or can it wait. And last but most important to me, I can pause my streaming tunes with a touch of the app on my watch. Time, date, temp, pressure, and activity are all secondary to me. A smartwatch is a tool that works well for me. I hope if you invest that you enjoy one as well.

Atrial filtration on my first try. Sinus Ruth on second. I guess I was just nervous using it at first.

Do you think the running app also works as a pedometer? I never run if I can help it. They need to include a frikkin manual with these things.

The 45mm.

Is your new Samsung watch set up and managed by the Samsung Wear app?

I don't wear my watch to bed. I find the watch uncomfortable while trying to sleep.
If you have health enabled it will monitor all aspects of your health. As for the pedometer and exercise, my watch will show me how many steps I've taken in a day. Running... my watch always thinks I'm riding a bike when I'm mowing. :) Something about the distance traveled in the time span monitored most likely. It will reward me with a bicycle icon screen and a great ride kudos following each lawn. :)

I wore a watch most of my life. I quite wearing one when I started carrying a smart phone. It was pretty easy to get comfortable with wearing the smart watch for me. I did replace the original band with a quick buckle band for I hate buckling a traditional band.

A manual.... I don't recall if a manual was included with my Gear3. The associated phone app helped in customizing the watch to my liking. Perhaps Google will come to your rescue.

You do need electricity for that @olbriar.

Even a cartoon manual like the one for the M-16 Marine issue rifle would be appreciated. I'm down for KISS but I need a guide to what I can do.
Are you experiencing a power outage? Bummer if so.

I read manuals. More often than not, I read an online version prior to purchase. My old eyes struggle to read the small font in printed manuals if they are provided.

That is the very watch I would buy if I couldn't find a frontier anymore and needed a replacement. LTE... I would not buy another LTE model. When I first purchased I was given a year free plan and then it rolled into five bucks a month. I finally dropped the LTE line when the price was increased to almost nine bucks a month. If I recall correctly, it was OCN that helped me configure the watch to quit looking for service when out of BT and WiFi range. :) I never found it handy or useful to be a stand alone watch. I am never without my phone but not always close enough for BT. So.. big deal.. NOT

just remember that the watch uses the galaxy gear app for updates among other things. if your watch stops receiving notifications, i find that is usually because there is am update that needs to be done.
I don't think I'll have those problems @olbriar I'll always have both.
I hope the wTch is really waterproof.
yep it is waterproof. i work with aquariums all day and my hands are always getting wet. you can even go swimming with them i would not go snorkeling or diving with them though.
