I have a few Questions about SGSII

BlackWW

Lurker
First.
Hy i was using iBrick for quite some time and then i moved onto Android.I fell in love with my GSGII.But here lays the problem. When i uninstall the game its files remains on the mobile phone and i have to delete them myself because 300-700 mb per game is quite a good amount of storage. So is there any way or program to delete everything when game is uninstalled.

Second.
Should i root my device.I want to but i heard numbers of story about flash counter and second counter that counts resets on flash counter. And if i root and something happens to phone witch is normal under the warranty and then unroot and reset the counter is it still under warranty? and can it be somehow traced.

Third.
Is there any way to port iOS games to android because iOS has lots of good games(CoD zombies,World Conqueror 1945,Axe in face and others.)

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums!

I've moved your post here where you can get expert help from fellow SGS2 owners.

You can't port iOS apps to Android, you'll have to have the developers do that.

well i was under the impression that uninstalling an app would remove all the installed files too.. i also dont know of any game that takes 700mb of storage :O which games are these, could u specify? there are a few other apps u could try out which uninstall apps for u.. norton utilities is one that ive used, and its good

rooting is purely based on u, i think its no big deal... however if ur very worried about ur warranty, i think u should stay away from rooting :D its possible to get it back to stock firmware, unrooted, and reset the flash counter, but if its important to u, i'd avoid it... however, a lot of android benefits come after rooting ur phone, so i'd recommend it personally :)

the last question has already been answered, i see :D cheers, and welcome to the forum (and android!)

No need to root your phone unless you have need to do so. Your GS2 with the latest firmware will do most everything 99% of the users want. If after a while, you feel you want, rooting is no big deal.

I use a iPhone 4, Blackberry 9900 and SG2. Lately only the SG2 goes in the holster, the iPhone and BB 9900 can not compare.
