Root I have a question about a project

Not every one is going to have a legit answer but this is what i need to do. i need to take every app on my evo and be able to save those apps to my laptop then move them to my portible flash drive..any one have any ideas..im open to hear all the straight answers and the crazy ones.

are you rooted?

are you expecting them to work? or backing up??? are you expecting to load them in another device to work???
