My ex boyfriend has the HTC First. I have the samsung galaxy stellar. Witch one is better? His mom has the Iphone 4S. Again witch one is better?
 
Depends on person's preferences and how they plan on using it. There is no one universal "better than the other" (unlike what apple wants you to believe).
 
Based on specs alone, I'm going to say the HTC. I have no personal experience with the Stellar or the First though.

I hate all things Apple, so the iPhone is at the bottom of the list for me.
 
But you can turn the Facebook stuff off in the First, which leaves you with stock Android :)

Only drawback is that with the phone being withdrawn so quickly I'd not bet on getting many updates.
 
The First was the "Facebook phone" that was launched (briefly) a few months back in the US - never made it to Britain. Basically a decent mid-range handset with the "Facebook Home" software pre-installed.

When Home flopped the First was pulled, which was kind of a shame since (a) HTC could do without things like that and (b) all you needed to do was turn Facebook Home off and there was nothing wrong with it.
 
There is no 'better'. the different phones (assuming mid-range and high end) all fit different people. some people like their phone without any apps other than a few social apps and email, possibly the weather, and prefer a more feature phone experience. BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone fit them. for those who want to install tons of apps or themes, there is Android. Apple works best for people who don't want to tweak/customize their phone and want tons of apps at their fingertips. each one fits a different profile.
