I have a "Superpad III" (Amazon.com: 10.1" Flytouch3 Android 2.3 Infotmic X210 1GHz Tablet PC WiFi Camera GPS 8GB MID: Computers & Accessories) that I got for $150. Is there any possibility of flashing this, or is it a dead end platform?
If it is a dead end device, would I be better served by sending it back and getting a Flytouch 3 - 10" Flytouch 2 Android 2.2 Epad - 3G Apad Tablet?

I have been having battery life issues (it gets to 30%, then drops to 0% and shuts off with a "low battery" warning) and a jittery touchscreen (doesn't always "click" where I told it to)

Thanks

Fella your machine is exactly the same as mine going by your specs...I've tried all the Tim roms and none of them work the tablet simply loads up as normal.

I'm new to Android an utter and complete NOOB! But I'm good with pc's so I have a fair all round working knowledge.

What I can find on the forums Tim's rom's wont work because it's version 2.3, maybe I'm wrong. If I am wrong and someones used and new rom on a Superpad 3 runnning V2.3 let us know.

PS.... Before I loaded an app that rendered the "slide to unlock" slider on my screen useless I found nothing wrong the pad I actually found it to run fairly good definitely never had any of this issues you've listed.

I experimented with it and found that the touchscreen issues relate to where you hold the tablet. Moving my hands or going from having it in my hand to having it on the table changes how it malfunctions.
Interestingly, it worked better when I removed the screen cover. It wouldnt calibrate until I did that.
I spoke to the seller and they said to send it back and they will look at it.
We will see if they replace it with a functional one or refund my money.

I got mine from ebay and it has proved to be much more than a fake a total pile of doggies dodo.

Seller won't answer emails, ebay don't want to know anything, so I am stuck with something that won't work and my wife has lost her christmas present

Did you give positive feedback to the seller then? I've always found Ebay are receptive to complaints untill you have given positive feedback, and even then you can Report Inappropriate Trading Behavior. Was the seller based in the same country as you? What was their feedback like?

IMHO Ebay is probably the safest place to buy from after a local shop providing you do a little research first.
