Hello again!
I have a task that I need someone to complete. By doing this task it will enable me to make a quick guide on how to update to m140 (and future updates) without being connected to verizon. What I need you to do:
I need you to still be on M130.
I need you have the gnm recovery installed.
I need you to make a backup of boot, recovery, and system before you do this.
The task is that you try to install the m140 update via gnm recovery. Yes it will not work, but I can get the command syntax that it uses to start the update process.

EDIT: I was able to do it myself. Next question, could someone please send me their m140 boot image? i am not sure that the script finished properly, and I just want to take precautions. thanks

the recovery is the problem. the update will not fully take because of the recovery. i had tried all kinds of ways. the best way was to be fully stock. oh and sorry i have not been around work has been really busy. plus i no longer have the phone. plus i have the note 3 now. so have been working with it.
