i have accidentally unpaired a bt headset (plantronics 903), it worked before, but suddenly it showed "paired but not connected" after several times i tried to connect, so i thought i`d unpair and it will show up again, but i was wrong: the phone can`t find it. what to do? how can pair it back?

Is the device asking for the 4-digit pairing code (or does it ask for any sort of confirmation)

nope, it just does not show after the scan

is there another android device handy? if so have you tried seeing if another device can see the headset? You are right, this is odd.
