Root I have Basix installed, but somehow lost root... is there a way to make a full backup without root?

Like the title says, I have Basix, but no root. I have cwm installed, and want to reinstall Basix, hoping to get root back. However, I don't want to lose all of my contacts, sms, data, etc. The My Backup that came preinstalled with Basix will not run, and I don't know how to backup my phone to reinstall the ROM. Is this even possible without root? Is there a way to root my phone now, with Basix already installed? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sooooo... I ran that all in one again, and all it did was add another Superuser into my app list. I am still not rooted, and I don't know what to do short of reinstalling Basix.

Does anyone know if there is a NON root app that will allow me to back everything up?
