Root I have buugless beast. Can I click through the OTA update?

I've got a MotoDroid running 2.2 (bugless beast) and this week I've started getting OTA notices prompting me to update. I've heard that it's safe to click update on some other releases and that my phone would not be overwritten with this OTA update, but would instead quit notifying me every couple of minutes about the pending update. Is this true with bugless beast as well? I'm really tired of the popup prompting me to update, but I'm scared to do it.

Yea, I got the same thing. I was under the impression that The updates were disabled on BB

This is a good question that I hope someone answers. I stopped staying in the loop on all this stuff after I rooted to my now ancient SholesMod (BB). Too much crap to keep up with but I would like to know if i can just update so the reminder will quit popping up.
