I have the best new android phone available, the new My Touch Slide.

Last week I received a MyTouch slide at work and wanted to share with everyone that it is the best android device I have ever used. If anyone has a question I would be happy to answer.

Its the fastest of any android device I've used so far, and impressively accurate. It has a genius button for voive commands that works fantastic. Almost zero forceclusers so far

What do you dislike the most about the phone.

My plan is to get one o these when they release but seeing if there is anything that might cause me not to.

I wish it had a larger screen, still larger than the my touch. The only thing this phone doesn't have is the blur software that comes on the cliq I would love to have that on here also but between htc sence and 2.1 android its pretty badass.

Oh, I totally agree with you snapdragons are fast. But I gurantee you this phone is far faster then you would think it could be not being a snapdron phone.

You may agree, but I don't think you've had time to really toy with a Snapdragon'ed phone.. The Incredible is.. well, just that - Incredible.

I do love my Incredible, however I know 1.3ghz phones are on their way.. by summer of next year we'll have already adapted 2+ghz..

600mhz arm 11, same as the 3G iphone. really isnt a game changing processor compared to the droid's cortex A8 and the snapdragons. sucks it wont get flash 10.1 cause of the processor its a neat little phone.

Cortex scales very well though. Not as well as Snapdragon, but what it can do is amazing. It can also be overclocked easily. Droid has been overclocked to 1ghz, Palm Pre also has been overclocked to 800mhz. The 3d capabilities are pretty good too. Again, snapdragon is better. But Cortex isn't years behind it though.

the new cortex A9 dual core is supposed to be a beast, we wont see it for some time though sadly, i know the A8 handles codes/processes a little better than snapdragons but it doesnt execute them as fast, not very much of a difference if you cound 1 second.

Ok guys, lets shed some light on the almighty snapdragon. I possess both a nexus one and an htc hd2. While a snapdragon is a powerful processor, that power is primarily focused on videos, web speed, and some phone fluidity. Ive also had a chance to fondle the mytouch slide, and I can tell you its fluidity and web speed rival that of both my snapdragon phones. Where the slide lost was video watching and downlo downloading, but to be only 600 mhz this thing zips, which leads me to believe that the processor speed might be more than what is being put out there
