The easiest way to delete apps is using Titanium Backup, you can use it to backup the app you deleted just in case you want to use it again in the future after you uninstall it. Or you can delete apps you don't want in a file manager- the best one on the Market is Root Explorer IMO.
You can do so many things while rooted.. If you like customizing your phone I suggest getting a CM7 ROM (by either Reppard, Bobz, or PG). If your not into customization search away for a root required app you could want, there's tons of 'em. :)

Metal,

As I said during our PM's we can set something up Saturday to get you set up and pointed in the right direction. Check your PM and get back to me.

Since you're new to rooting, you should start by reading this thread: http://androidforums.com/optimus-m-...e-asking-mostly-noob-proof-guide-updated.html Also this thread: http://androidforums.com/optimus-m-all-things-root/253523-list-apps-safe-remove.html Make sure you read all the info and understand what it is you're trying to do. This will save you from messing up your phone.

Hello, i went to those links but i still don't get the custom recovery. I don't know how to put it onto my phone. I have Rom Manager premium but the clockworkmod recovery doesn't list my phone? And the instructions are too hard for me to understand since I'm completely new to this. Although video tutorials are much better =D lol

ROM Manager isn't really for our phones; if you do something wrong you can easily brick it- but there is a way to get it working, and a thread in the All Things Root to show you how. But the easiest recovery to set up is Joneidy's custom recovery here: http://androidforums.com/optimus-m-...nally-custom-recovery-2-2-1-stock-phones.html ,just do what it tells you and viola, you gotta recovery. If you need anymore help reply on this thread so it can help other people who also just rooted their phones. :)

Since you're new at this, don't use the rom manager and cwm. get a app called FlashGUI, then get one of the other recoveries til you get a little better with this stuff. Just use that app to flash the recovery ( you have to just put the recovery on your sdcard ) hit the browse button on FlashGUI app to locate the recovery on your sdcard, then go back to the main page and just hit the flash image button.
