Help i keep losing sound

i keep losing sound for text alerts. restarting phone corrects it but it eventually happens again.

Are you using stock text app? Are you rooted? Romed? Themed?

Hmmmm....curious. I have never had this one. Stumped.. Sorry. Maybe factory reset....or are they custom or stock tones screwing up?

Well, then my only thought might be a factory reset. But I'd hate for you to have to do that w/o some other input.
