I had my msl which was 711024 I wanted to keep that lock code. I flashed my Boost Mobile epic 4g touch to page plus with no problems (used Houdini). My problem is that after I had flashed it, I went to change my apn settings but now it says my msl is incorrect. I tried cdma workshop, qpst, dfs and none of them will read the spc. when I use alogcat i get this getprop ril.msl=null. I moved alogcat as a system app and now I get this. (See Image)


how do I rewrite the msl back on the phone? I have even tried flashing fl03 toolbox and still no msl.

I am assuming you are on the Touch Wiz Jelly Bean or ICS. With that you have to flash a different toolbox.bin temporarily so the getprop ril.MSL will work. Please refer to this post.

Have you tried zeros I know Houdini is design to flash and write zeros on the MSL by default

Yeah I tried 000000 as well. I will try a ics rom and let you know if that works. thanks for the response.

I have used this method a few times (I sometimes like to force roam), I am on Sprint however but I don't see why the toolbox.bin wouldn't work for you as well

I got it. I had to go to el26 then run terminal.. somehow changed my msl to 555555 thank you for the sugestions.
