I left iPhone 4 for Atrix

I have owned every iphone version from the 2 all the way to the 4. I decided recently time for a change and I am loving the Atrix.

No doubt the iphone 4 is a nice phone but I really wanted to make the jump to Android. My expectations for build quality are quite high having owned so many iphones especially the iphone 4.

Atrix has not disappointed. The build quality of the phone is great. Even though I believe it may be about the same weight as iphone 4. The form factor makes it feel much lighter at least to me. I do not miss the iphone retina screen at all. In fact I prefer the screen on the Atrix. I am finding android is so much better than iOS.

Could go on and on as the Atrix has so many features but bottom line I am glad I made the switch.

- Bluetooth HID keyboard support
- Netflix app that can stream videos
- Better camera sensor for photos

Atrix advantages:
- Google maps navigation
- Better notification system
- Larger screen

Right now the field is pretty much even and comes down to personal taste. I would rather go with the iPhone atm but this could easily change if Android gets a hacked Netflix app that can actually stream videos or HID bluetooth keyboard support down the line.

Then again the iPhone 5 in a couple of months could tip the scales as well with some new features. Have to wait and see...

I think it just comes down to what kind of an experience you want. If you enjoy customization and lots of control over your phone right out of the box get the Atrix if you just want everything the way it is get iPhone.

I just switched from the iPhone 4 to the Atrix... Love It!
Falchion is correct in his statement. I gave the iPhone to my wife cause it works good and simple to use, you can't screw it up.
I wanted something with more customization, Atrix rocks!

you forgot hspa+. my iphone was getting 750kps on average. my atrix is getting 4.5 mbs avg

In the same exact place?? My Atrix is about 40% faster on the download when tested side by side. But upload is about 20% of what the IP4 does.

And my iPhone 3g consistently did double of what you claim to get...and that was with only 2 bars of service where I live.
