I left my almost brand new Razr Maxx at a pizza restaurant last night

It took me about an hour after we got home to realize I couldn't find it.

Efff word!

We drove back to the restaurant, and get this. The busboy turned it in! WOW

I was thrilled, to say the least, and my boyfriend was relieved he didn't have to put up with me having lost my phone all night.

I gave the busboy (what a terrible term, he was a grown man) a generous tip and was I manic all night. What a great thing it is when people are honest.

Yeah I've turned in all kinds of things. I went to the supermarket one day, pulled out a cart, and whattaya know, a women's wallet was left in the child seat, so full of money it was sticking out the sides.

I turned it in to the manager, making sure other workers witnessed it.

I was happy all night knowing what a thrill that woman was going to get after finding it turned in at the store.

Yeah, we have a wallet at work no one has come looking for. ID is of a high school kid and my usual route is to see if he's on FB. Lo and behold, he's not! Shocking I know.
Wish he'd come in, looks like a legit Gucci wallet, probably worth a ton.

I've never lost a phone. I'm more the fall in the lake with one sorta guy. Glad you got it back. I found a Razr flip phone years ago on a residential street. It had obviously fallen from a moving vehicle and was trashed bad. I took it to the local police station thinking it might get claimed and the contacts salvaged.

That is very good someone turned it in, in this day and age of people being selfish.

Glad you got it back.

Some honest people still exist. Maybe we should start a website where everyone logs their random acts of kindness. It might give the world hope.

Really glad about your phone! :)

Well, most of us here have been on both ends of the loss of something and having it returned.

Getting something back feels pretty close to the same as giving something back, I've noticed over time.

Think about what it's going to do for the "Cleaning Table Guy" Probably scored him some good points with work and not to mention the tip he got. Its always interesting to know the story we don't know.

Glad you got your phone back. Its a real pain to replace them. Its worse than loosing your drivers license.

I lost a phone at a plumbing supply store once. I noticed it gone about 10 minutes later, called the store and when I got back to the store one of the counter guy's was on the phone and I heard him say that I had just walked in. It was the person who found my phone. Most people in the plumbing community where I live know me so that was a plus. First and last time I lost a phone (at least to date that is).
