I love my android phone, but I miss the way my old blackberry sorted the call logs .

Is there an app where I can have Jane Doe listed one time in the call log regardless if I call her or if she calls me as opposed to having her listed multiple times.

Depends on the phone/dialer app you use. Go Contacts EX does that like you want.
