I'm an android user who misses his numeric keypad. nobody seems to care about it anymore. anyway, i think y'all are swell, and I'm supposed to come say hi in this sub-forum, so Hi, y'all!

Hello and welcome :)

There are some slider cell phones with Android and a physical keyboard still available, but they're not as common.

Hi there Leo and welcome to Android Forums. :) Sorry to hear you miss your numeric keyboard as I think they're good to have for people who wish to have actual physical buttons versus a virtual keyboard. If you have Verizon Wireless the Motorola Droid 4has a slide out physical keyboard. :)
If you need anything please give us a holler!

Hi Leo and welcome to Android Forums!

I just gave my sister in law an Android phone to replace (or supplement) her dumbphone. And she is also still accustomed to the numeric T9 keypad and is having trouble adjusting.

To help, I might recommend this app. It may help you :)

It's great to have you here!
