I music?

Strange that it's been removed as there is nothing technically illegal about downloading copyrighted music it's only illegal to share it.

Tried to DL and it said no application can open this file, downloaded anyway and won't install? Can google peer into our phones and remove things if they want? Kinda freaky, I did do a wipe not to long ago so I may have forgot to re-install, and I am getting old so the memory could be going but even at that its a little weird that it wont install the .apk. Future legal battles "napster" style around the corner perhaps?

Thanks jimrello: neo music was found in the market and installed

that is kind of scary
Not really. Google aren't going to gain too many customers if they just go around deleting apps without justifiable cause. They can't see any of your personal data. All they can do is remove apps from the Market, which then deletes them from your phone. There's nothing to stop you from going to an alternative market and using that instead, or just downloading the app direct from the developer. It's more a way to make sure Google doesn't get sued for providing the tools for law-breaking. It's a lot better than the Apple way of requiring every app to be pre-approved by them

I just checked. It's still there and it's now called Neo Music. There is a paid version now called Neo Music Tao, and people are pissed because now with the paid version because they changed the name and you would have to re-buy it if you paid. I have the free version, so I'm not sure I want to update even the free one just in case.

If you are looking for i music, install Neo Music, and see if it is the same. Let us know!

iMusic, Neo Music, exactly the same just different spelling. :D Sucks ass that the dev changed the name and people that bought the original paid version have to buy it again. Glad I just use the free version. I say don't buy ANY apps from this dev and only use the free versions. Actually I'm gonna look into this Music Junk v3.0 Application for Android | Multimedia

Mine still works too. It's definately the same app as BOO5TED said. I just wasn't sure if it was smart to update the free version after I saw the comments on the free one complaining about having to pay twice. Actually, if you download Neo Music, I think it even tells you it will replace IMusic.

i used to have i music tao and then i guess the dev pulled a smooth one but now i got neo music tao. a lot of ppl are throwing fits and saying it was a scam, but come on its 7 bucks or something lol! a dollar a day. i know its a recession but geeezz..i have been having wayy more success in finding the latest and exclusive songs that i like..neo music is good as well :)

For some reason it has been removed from the market. Funny I have it installed on my Hero and it still works just fine. Try this and see if this works.

Thanks for the attachment - that worked a treat.

For anyone else trying to install it - email it to your Android, then install the package from Market called "tAttachApkInstaller" and then you'll be able to install the Apk directly from the copy you just emailed yourself.

Simples :)
