How can I save or transfer pictures that i have taken on my phone to the SD card? I can figure this out and I looked at other threads... having trouble.

Well, you could either use a file explorer right on your phone (you need to be rooted for that), or connect to your PC and move them from the phone's internal memory /emmc/DCIM/100MEDIA/ to your sdcard location /sdcard/DCIM/100MEDIA/ or whatever other location you prefer.
To store your photos to your SD card first open the camera app. At the top of the screen is a pull down tab which contains camera settings. Clicking on settings>storage you can choose to save your photos to the SD card. Photos previously taken will have to be moved or copied as suggested in the above reply.
