Accessories I need a new battery

line6ix

Newbie
So I finally need a new battery for my Incredible and i'm totally confused on which one to get. I'd prefer one that doesn't require a new backplate because i like to use the protective case i have. I've heard about the CHICHITEC 1900 mAh but it seems to get mixed reviews from users. What's the consensus? I'm tech-******ed so any and as much info anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.

stay away from Seidio batteries they are falsely advertised.

A few sellers do this so be careful. Some of the 1500 Mahs are really 1300 and some of the 1800s are really 1500.

Is there any proof that the Seidio batteries are falsely advertised? I have the 1750mha in my phone and I can get 2 days of use out of it. I am by no means a power user, but I use my phone enough throughout the day.

I bought the Anker 1700 battery from Amazon. You actually get two and a charger. I don't track my battery usage at all. Right now its 75% unplugged for 16 hours. The batteries are made in china. I have happy with it. Just don't forget to back up your SD card.

I have one of the Seidio 1750mAh batteries. I have been noticing when I unplug my phone in the morning, my battery will drop almost 20% in about an hour give or take. Anybody else notice this?

Never mind.. I found out what it is. Sometimes I leave the Weather Channel App on the Map when going back to the home screen. Seems this continues to run in the back ground and it is killing the battery. I will have to get used to exiting the Weather Channel App by the Menu-Exit instead of just the home button.

A guy pulled one apart the cells only add up to 1500 (I think) It's been a really long time since people were going on about it.

Interesting, I'll have to order the other one then if I need a new battery before I am done with this phone.
