I need a real backup app!

For me its simple but I think we all have different things we care about or want done. I have used phones like Treos, BB, iPhones and Palms for years and years and years only once, an iPhone, did I have a problem and had to restore. This was due to my own fault when I tried a hack and nothing to do with the iPhone so I do not see a lot of need to worry about this.

Contacts and calender are for me the single most important things and they are in Google.

Apps are in the store under my account. Might lose a couple settings but no big deal for me.

Music and videos I rarely buy on the phone itself so 99.9% of all my stuff is already on the computer.

Pics and Videos are important, but I usb tether almost everyday and usually sync anything new at the same time if I remember.

Sms, I could care less if its saved or not as most of its nonsense type stuff.

Phone settings are about the only thing I do not have covered but can't see it taking me more than 10-15 minutes to enter zip codes for the weather, setup wifi and some other things.

I'm upgrading to a microSD with larger capacity & have many apps installed on the card. HOW do I copy the image to the new microSD without having to reinstall all the apps on the card?

Will OnTheFly Backup get the job done?

If you have just one FAT32 partition on microSD card (you do, if you have not done any partitioning yourself), then simply copy the card content to PC (including hidden files), and copy them back to the new card. The apps should work as if nothing has changed.
