So I rooted my android device(Samsung Galaxy S5), but decided to try and unroot it, to see if I can update my Android OS. I used Kingo Root to both root and unroot it. I also uninstalled and deleted all other programs that was associated with the root. However, my phone still seems to think it is rooted, and it will not allow me to update the OS.

There might be an obvious solution to this which I am not aware of, but I am not the biggest tech-freak out there. I would appreciate a reply as fast as possible. Thanks in advance. :)

To unroot the device fully you need to use Odin and a tar file usually from sammobile. Then it will update.
