i need help with 3g

i have a ZTE-Z990G android tracphone from walmart with net10 . i have wifi and can use it but it says it comes with a 3g option and i want to know how to use it .i've tried turning wifi off and alot of other things but it did not work . can you help ? -morgan

If I'm not mistaken when you connect to the web with the stock 3G internet it should find the closest net10 wi-fi hotspot or connect right to the tower.
