To enable USB debug, first of all, you need to know what Android version your phone or tablet runs. Then, according to the Android version, follow the right steps below.
1. For Android 2.0 -2.3
On your Android phone or tablet, tap Settings > Applications > Development > tick USB debugging
2. For Android 3.0 -4.1
On your Android phone or tablet, tap Settings > Developer Options > tick USB debugging
3. For Android 4.2 or newer
On your Android phone or tablet, tap Settings > About Phone > Build number (tap several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" ). Go back to Settings > Developer Options > tick USB debugging.
