I need some advice

Hi all,

I decided to enter the smartphone world, I just got a data plan, but surfing the internet on my samsung jet isnt really relaxing ;) thats why Im looking for a smartphone.

I definitely want android, since I really like it on my tablet. So I've been searched the last 3 days which one I should buy.

I came across the samsung galaxy s plus, samsung galaxy s advance and the htc desire s. I picked those because I only want to give up to 350 euros ( i think its kind off the same in dollars and its the same as 280 pounds). For now I was thinking about the htc desire s for the battery life.

One thing I think is important is the battery life, as long as it can last until when I go sleep its ok by me. I just dont want to end up with a dead battery during the day.

Do you guys have any advice which to pick? It doesnt have to be one of these 3.

What I would like:

- battery that can reach the evening
- pleasant for going on the internet
- atleast a 5 MP camera
- no lag

Any help would be appreciated very much.

I'd pick advance, for the simple fact that its hardware is way better than the other two. It will guarantee smoother experience than the others.

If you're into tweaking you can pretty much remove the lag and improve the battery life for any Android device, that allows it.

My first smartphone was a Casio commando. I pretty much got it because if I had react to contact, 3-5 second rush, low crawl, react to ambush, do a water crossing, and forgot my phone in my pocket I wouldn't have to worry. But that device wasn't very friendly to modifications (rooting, ROMing, tweaking)
So I bought a used galaxy nexus and love it. Stock with no modification, the battery world last 7 hours. New ROM, kernel, and some minor tweaking, and the battery lasts a full day with moderate to heavy use.

Thanks for the replies so far, ive been searching reviews and have been comparing and the battery of the advance seems to be the best aswell as the hardware itself. I thought the htc had a longer battery life, but it aint. That makes the decision easy, the samsung galaxy s advance it is.

I wont buy it until 1 week, so any other suggestions are welcome.

I would go for the advance, but i would only in for that to avoid the HTC not been a fan since the wildfire! Samsung for me have been brilliant i love my phone!
