Help I need tips on Note taking

Recently got my Note 2 and I know it takes some time to get the hang of taking notes. Whenever I take notes, my palm is constantly hitting the back button on my phone. What's a good tip to stop this or do I just need to practice some more?

Another thing, say I'm writing a shopping list in landscape mode, I get a few things written but then I need to get the page to go up to finish up my list. I use 2 fingers to bring up the page but sometimes the page zooms instead and it gets irritating.

Any tips would appreciated. Thanks

Don't know much about the back button as I never hit it. But I have an otterbox commuter on and that might be helping me not hit the back button.

When in landscape, you can tap the icon on the upper left corner with a page with 4-way directional arrows on it. That will allow you to navigate the page. Then tap the icon on the upper left corner (now a page with a pen icon) to write again. That also keeps your fingers off the screen. ;)

Thanks. I'll try that.
