Root I need to restore my phone to stock!!!

The micro usb input on my phone is broken, so I can't charge it and it is completely dead. My warranty is still intact, so I wanna take it back and get a replacement, but my phone is rooted and has a custom rom installed, so they won't take it back unless I revert it to stock. I have the backup on my USB card, and I know how to do it and everything, but as mentioned before, the battery is completely dead. I thought I'd have at least a little bit of juice left to try and revert it, but my phone shut off about halfway through the restoration process. Any way I can get a little bit of charge into the battery? Will taking it out for a while help? I also heard putting it in the fridge would help, but that was from a stupid friend of mine that is almost never completely serious so I can't really trust him

simple find a battery that works with the admire. maybe a friend has one or go buy one. there are ways to charge a battery without it being in a phone btw. some are as easy as getting the charger that does that or as complex are stripping the wires to exposed to them battery connectors.

Yeah, I've read about cutting the wires, but I am just bound to screw something up, so I'm not even going to bother with that. I'm considering just telling the worker at Metro the truth, in hopes that they'll let me borrow a battery for 30 seconds, but that's kind of a long shot.

yeah it is a long shot, i mean i have heard the stories of some really cool store workers that allow certain things but i wouldnt get your hopes ups. try searching for an extra battery somewhere. its really the best option and its what id do since sooo many people i know have the same phone. of course that might not be the same for you.

I know a few people, but I won't see any of them till Monday. Guess I'll have to wait.

But wait....since the battery's dead, there's no way they'll know its rooted....right???

i know for a fact metro have batteries lying around and i can almost guarantee that because of that, that corporate would also have batteries lying around to test it. you can always risk it, some people have sent in rooted phones before and gotten a new one back. its up to you though

Well, I cleared all the data from the ROM I had installed, and got about halfway through restoring to stock so I imagine they wont even be able to boot into the damn thing.
