Root I rooted my Stellar and It won't turn on now.

Hye, I tried it and rooted my phone successfully, next day I restarted my phone and IT WONT TURN ON. there is NO reponse not even the verizon logo. when I connect it with the computer I just hear connection and disconnection sounds... I think its bricked :(


I am so worried and I need help for this please.
 
i'm not sure what would cause but you may find your fix near the end of how to root stellar. read the entire thread to really understand what you will be doing

Please report back on any actions taken or progress as this may later help someone.
 
Do you at least get to the Samsung logo? Also, did you flash a recovery? If both of those are true, you should be able to recover pretty quickly. I can give you details.
 
Sorry man; sounds dead to me. I doubt rooting did it, though. Probably a coincidence. I'd turn it in under warranty. Should be fine.

I have sent mine to samsung.... since It was under warranty but I am not really sure if its gonna get fixed.... NO MORE ROOTING unless there is official and proper method.

Probably too late to help the OP, but this may help someone else with a hard-bricked Stellar. My phone had the exact same symptoms - completely dead. My own fault, of course (and out of warranty).

I searched around, and found an outfit that specializes in JTAG repairs - they recently added the Stellar to their support list. Gave these guys a try, and three days after mailing the phone I got it back fully functional! Total cost was 50 bucks, a fraction of the replacement cost. Unless your phone's hardware is damaged, they claim they can fix any phone on their extensive list - if they can't, you won't be charged. Fair price, and the customer service was exceptional. When all else fails, this could be your solution.
