Root I screwed up

I rooted my wife's phone so she could make more room for her apps (live wallpapers). I thought I hid the SU & TiBU but erased some important system/metro files. I get no service, internet to verify my TiBU pro lic, no phone and whatever But still has root. The biggest filled I see deleted are system & UI. Because I can't verify Ti I can't restore the bu from the SD card. I even wanted to do a reset but I can't access it. So can yahoo help a bro out, naturally it's my fault for this but that's my Hell.
 
You did try home+vol down + power. Correct?

Also for sh1tz and giggles.... pull bat, remove sd (leave out) install bat. Boot again

#1- boots to safe mode, no SD Card access where bu located
#2- see above

Also I tried using Ti's boot to recovery. It went through the motions and rebooted with no luck. Just a thought, since our phones are LGMS769 and rooted same. Is there anything I can copy from my phone and transfer by SD card since WiFi & internet is unavailable

I think I misread the OP.

So phone boots but u have no service and your missing some system files? Is that correct?
 
Let me know exactly which files you deleted. I'll make you copies from my system and you can either download them to your other phone or computer. Transfer them to sd and install then reboot. If you both have am L9 you can transfer the files from your phone to your wife's. That is if I'm understanding everything you're saying.

Yes. Her apps work if they can run alone. I have Titainium bu pro with a full recent bu . Since no service it can't check the license and won't restore any file. I was thinking I could copy my system/app to restore enough to do a oem reset.

I was going to suggest the same as ss82. Do u know what system apps/files r missing?

Wow! As I was responding to Dover you responded with the answer I asked so I'm gonna give it a shot. Here's a list of deleted files that I know of. System UI 4.1.2 LGMS76910b. Settings 3.2.0.00. Phone 3.2.41103. Network location 1.1.10. MetroWeb 4.1.41104. LocMgrProvider 4.1.2. IPService 1.0. DRM Service 4.1.2. com.leg.hiddenmenu 1.0 This is a partial of the important files but if you think some are missing please let me know


SS82, I just looked at your post- V10d kdz metropcs and wanted to know if this could help me? Rooting her phone is out of the question again.
 
You could use the method here How to Fix LG Security ERROR Issue. - xda-developers to completely update your phone. It's the only unbrick method that I've found to work. Or if you give me sometime I'll upload a zip containing all the files. Those files are EXTREMELY important to the functionality of the phone excluding metro Web. Just a reminder do not delete or freeze anything unless you completely know what it does. Google is your best friend.
 
Here are the files you need. Download and extract using a root file manager, then place all files and odexes into system, change permissions to all files rw-r-r then reboot. Don't worry hidden menu has no odex. I excluded metro web once you have these reinstalled you can use TB to restore your backup if you want.

I probably should have suggested this earlier, but I wasn't thinking

Perhaps the easiest way to do what your trying to do is using the LG Mobile support tool. It would basically return your phone to stock at the latest softwAre version of the phone. Wipes out root and puts all the bloatware back.

Does everyone know a out this, or do I need to add a tutorial op?
 
I just posted a link in post number nine of this very thread. I just haven't gotten around to making a guide for our forum yet.

Don't do that. I'm going to be writing up a few guides within the week. I could use some help around here. There are no stickies here and there needs to be. So maybe we can split the workload and collaborate our brains.

Off subject I know... but do you know if this phone experiences the dreaded "LG test mode" nightmare?
 
Sorry to leave you guys hanging but I had a situation come up. My wife's on me to git r dun. So I'll try now and thanx again for your input.
 
Hey fellas I'm willing to help with anything I can (writing tuts, making vids, that sort of thing). Not skilled when it comes to dev stuff, but can test peoples roms and such. Rooted and unlocked bootloader first try, running bobz cm. I got a pretty good grasp at following directions for debug purposes. If so hit me up and let me know what you need.

I'm getting frustrated. I downloaded your link and put on her sd card and ran it. I got a parsing error then I figured out no apk's will install so I made a copy of system bu from Ti but I found out all bu's are read only. I tried changing permissions but got error message could not change on sd card so I copied to internal and tried to change permission no luck so I'm taking a break. I think I saw on another thread from you flashing 10d or something like that. Would that work? Otherwise I'm thinking about taking it to metro and say our nephew took her phone and I got it back in this condition. Either way I can't tell you how much I appreciate all your help. Sorry to leave you hanging but I tried to factory reset in your link but it hung on setup wizard first screen. On the" next" button it was frozen but it wasn't rooted anymore. I took it to the mothership and they couldn't fix it so it was replaced and I'm never gonna let my wife go near a rooted phone ever again. So thanx to everyone that tried to help.
