Help I some how messed up the rooting on my s4. Help me please.

A few days back I was attempting to root my phone but I must have some how unplugged it or done something wrong while trying to root it. Now it is stuck on the boot screen with 2 messages in the top left corner:

Recovery Booting.....
Set Warranty Bit : recovery

I tried to go into recovery mode but it wont budge. The only button that works is the power button and it still doesnt do anything. Any ideas ? Maybe Flashing it ?

Hmm, usually rooting shouldn't cause this kind of problem. Can you tell us some specifics, your exact phone model (e.g. I9505), the file you used to root it, and the exact steps you took. This isn't an area I'm great at, but off the top of my head it sounds like you may have installed a mod or ROM file by accident, or you tried to root with the wrong file and it messed up the firmware on the phone, and a recovery like Clockwork Mod or TWRP may help. I had a similar problem (also with an S4), the more specifics you can tell us the better we can help you.

Okay I think I know what went wrong. When you root it needs to exactly match the model number of your phone, and you've tried to flash the standard S4 one (I9505) on your S4 mini (I9190). Easy mistake to mistake, they're obviously similar phones but they are different

First thing, we'll try flashing a recovery. Check this link (double check your phone is the GT-I9190 first). See what happens with that and report back to us

yeahhh ok i cant pass step 3 if i do the download combo my phone just turns off and when i release the power button it turns back on. Also is there a specific file i have to put the rootkit in or do i just literally copy and paste that file into my sd card ?
Anyway possible i can just do a hard reset that will wipe everything except the android software ? @The_Ty

Do the button combo (home, power, volume down) from the phone being powered off mate (pull the battery first).
And yeah you could try a factory reset if you havent already but by the sounds of it, it wont help

Okay you want to do the same process and follow the video like before, but this time go here: http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ and download the zip for the GT-I9190 (again, very important that you pick the one exactly for your phone). Like Funky Logic said, make sure your phone is off before you do the volume down-home, power button combination. You don't need to use an SD card or anything, you're going to do this through ODIN on your PC, with your phone connected via USB.

Give that a try, let us know if it works.
