So I had a few calls today and nobody could head me. Said I was really quiet. Then I remembered that I got a little soda on the mic yesterday. I think it might have coated the mic. Speaker phone works fine.
Anyone else have this happen, or know how to fix??
My guess is that you may have shorted the front facing microphone. You may need to contact Verizon on this one as I don't know how to switch between microphones.
Turn phone off, remove battery, apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol to where you think you got the soda, use a little blast of canned air on the area, wait 5 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate, put battery back in, and turn the phone back on.
No, Jameson is not a good substitution for the rubbing alcohol, but may help to steady your hand.
