Root I think I might of soft bricked my phone. Help, Please!

So I just performed the s-off and am still able to access the Fastboot menu and the teamwin recovery, when I try to flash a rom it will start to load but stop midway and restart the process.

what rom?
hboot?

and android forums has a nice little section called all things root... you would get alot more support from there

You probably need hboot v 1.09 or whatever it is, see Leslie ann's thread doing that. I did all her suggestions and never had a problem. Now that I said that my phone will probably lockup like a rock.:D

Downgrade your hboot to 1.04, use 4ext touch recovery, wipe data/factory reset, format all except SD, clear cache/dalvik x3, flash midnight or mobsterz. Remember if your s-off didn't take and you're still s-on, then smart flash must be enabled. If s-off worked then it must be off.

How do I downgrade to hboot 1.04?

Just to clarify a bit, 4EXT SmartFlash will work for S-OFF users as long as your current kernel is bootable but it's unnecessary and requires an extra boot every time you flash or restore the boot partition.

If you were using 4EXT with SmartFlash before gaining S-OFF make sure you uncheck that option off in the app settings to update the configuration file since disabling it in the recovery tools menu will not stick.

I already have s-off and thats when the problems started to occur, after I did it my phone won't load any roms it will only get halfway through and then reboot and start the process all over again.

That is a boot loop because you need a downgraded hboot. (1.04) I'll look for a how to, I think its in Leslie anns turn your phone into an evo 3d thread.
