Root I think i'm bricked.. help?

i think i bricked my phone, i themed some icons on the launcher2.apk pushed it too system/app renamed the old one to launcher2.apk.bak and rebooted my phone and it has been sitting on the boot image for around 5-10min.. any help? or should i wait it out?

Hey Bll did you make a backup before attempting this?
If so go ahead and restore it
If not trt reflashing your ROM
WHEN DOING ANY THEMING ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP
I'm pretty sure you only soft bricked so its fixable

i did not make a backup, i have themed any other .apk what is the difference with the launcher?

Try booting into recovery and wiping dalvik and cache and fixing permissions see if that clears it up

When doing the theme, how did you do it? Did you decompile the apk or just extract with 7zip? I assume you're rooted? Can you push the original apk back with adb?

i will try this and see if it helps, if i back my ROM up and then go into the backed up file after i have restored to stock can i delete the launcher2 and replace it with the original and then restore it back? if you understand what im trying to say lol..

..... :/ no luck, restoring to a backup i made a while back HOPEFULLY this works.. say bye bye to all my progress on temple run lol D:

yeah if you attempt this again (don't get turned down) just make a recent backup even if you just themed one apk make a backup before moving onto the next

i used apkManager my phone is booting back on but with a stock rom :/ all i did my edit the colors of some .png files with gimp using Hue-color then i compiled went to keep folder deleted the things i changed pushed it too system/app renamed to launcher2.apk and renamed the Stock one to launcher2.apk.bak :/ im going to try to go into my back up delete the new one rename the old and restore, wish me luck
