Root I think I'm Bricked

I was trying to flash one of the stock roms, the latest test, and it kept failing and after a couple of restores I tryed one of the older stock roms and somehow I wound up with stock recovery and it only goes to green droid guy and no further. It will not go into FTM mode. It will only go to stock recovery. Can someone help?:confused:

SEE! This phone is so damned finicky, I don't trust it. My old Warp was bullet proof. Hell, my Sequent was easy. I hate this frigging phone.

I know, I got it back with this tool but I am almost affraid to do anything with it. If it were not fo the poorass speaker on the first Warp I would still be on it.
 
My reason for switching too! I'm a 53 yr. Old carpenter. And I couldn't hear anything. This may become my wife's new phone. (Lol).

I like this phone and I have recovered from a soft and hard brick. The only thing I really didn't like about the phone was the boost bloatware. Other than that it runs smooth for me, is loud and there is tools to unbrick already. This unbrick tool is the one I used to unbrick soft and hard brick!!! Thank you SuperR
Oh and uh didn't it flash a new recovery the cwm I like which was http://androidforums.com/internatio.../733389-philz-cwm-recovery-dummies-guide.html this one right SuperR? Even if your phone wasn't bricked you could use the new unbrick tool to flash the recovery couldn't you from DFU mode?

Yes, it's PhilZ. cooldudezach built it. You could use it to install PhilZ if you are not bricked, but there are easier ways. The instructions are on the PhilZ thread.
 
I hear u on that,I took my sequent to hell and back and it is sitting in my glove compartment fully functional waiting to be used.I am scared to flash anything on my 4g...too many horror stories.
 
There is always a rough patch the first few month that development begins on a device, but thing tend to smooth out. I've flashed this thing more times than I can count and it's still trucking along

I have to agree.. I've must have flashed like 15 times or more without a hitch. Things did seem really rough at first for this phone. But look now, we have a kernel that seems to be working and some roms came out for it.. I can definitely live with with it. Not to mention I dropped mine a bunch of times already and is seeming pretty solid. I do have a cheap phone case but mind I dropped the CRAP out of this thing thought I broke the screen a couple times from landing face down but was all goood :smokingsomb:
