Root i want to change stauts bar icons

how to do that...................without installling any buggy rom (i want to replace only status bar icons........with ics )

Try UOT kitchen or u need to pull up the icons png from other ROMs files like systemUI and MTKbase and Framework and then decompile the same files of Stock and replace with the files you wanna change.

ok but can i do this all stuff in windows or i need unix or linux..............

You can do this in Windows or in any platform as if UOT means Ultimate Online Themeing Kitchen where u just need to upload the frameworks files and the other needed files and just have to select what MOD do you want to apply and the rest will be done by the kitchen online and you will get the MODDED files which you have to flash via recovery thats it.
